Field Technician

About the role

Join On-Site Health & Safety and be part of a team that truly keeps America working! Our Field Technicians respond to various worksites from construction to refineries in a company vehicle, ensuring health and safety compliance, providing first aid, and performing health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance
• Provide first aid and incident reports
• Perform health screenings
• Draw blood when certified

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
• Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements

Qualifications

• Education or experience in: EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
• Additional in-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Able to articulate instructions clearly
• Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
• Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances
