Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support through the service desk ticket queue
- Support to Helpdesk team with end user tickets
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
- Travel to job sites to assist with:
- Network deployments
- Equipment installations
- Firewall and switch replacements
- Wireless access point installations
- Rack and cabling work
- Workstation and server setup
- Support and maintain:
- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure environment
- Basic network infrastructure including routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts using RMM tools such as NinjaOne
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed
- Document work performed, network changes, and troubleshooting steps accurately
- Assist senior engineers with infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades
- Provide professional and customer-focused communication during onsite and remote support engagements
- Manage multiple tickets and priorities
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of IT support, help desk, or systems support experience in a professional environment
- Basic understanding of: Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Meraki networking equipment
- Windows Server
- Active Directory and Azure fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working onsite at job locations and traveling locally as needed
- Ability to lift and install IT equipment when required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-service mindset with a willingness to learn and grow technically
- Able to prioritize and manage ticket queue responsibilities effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with: NinjaOne RMM or similar monitoring tools
- Ticketing systems and documentation platforms
- Basic firewall and switch configuration
- Wireless networking technologies
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Industry certifications are a plus: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Meraki
