Network Engneer
About the role
Security+ Cert required. 12 years of experience in the Information Technology field, with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 8 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Must have strong background in Cisco Network Security, Cisco ASA and FirePower, and must be able to design and plan Cisco NEXUS switches. Must also be proficient with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco/Solarwinds).
Responsibilities
- Maintain and upgrade Cisco networks, including routers and switches.
- Update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.
- Apply STIG fixes to switches and follow STE policies.
- Configure RADIUS for device administration on switches.
- Design and plan the network for Cisco NEXUS switches.
- Experience with Firepower Device Manager and/or Firepower Management Center Platforms.
- Work as part of a team, support hours are 0600-1800 hrs daily, candidate will work 8 hour shift in this window.

Qualifications
Must hold a current Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Skills
Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco/Solarwinds), Cisco ASA and FirePower, and ability to design and plan Cisco NEXUS switches.

Pay
$190,000 - $200,000 annually
