Network Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize network equipment and protocols such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize data and voice networking infrastructure to support business services and applications used by Station Casinos.
• Consult with other Engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.
• Formulate plans using industry-standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver defined requirements.
• Address and resolve network performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support networks in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable expertise in at least three of the platforms in common use at Station Casinos preferred.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications applications and other support applications in a customer service-oriented environment.
• A general understanding of the operation and configuration of at least three additional platforms in use at Station Casinos.
• A self-motivated individual with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and leadership in both written and verbal forms.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
