About the role
The Network Engineer I supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure while providing hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues. They manage assigned projects and research system upgrades to ensure hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Provides hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues
- Manages assigned projects and researches system upgrades
- Ensures hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards
- Performs scheduled maintenance
- Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 reliability for the hospital
Requirements
- 4 year college degree or 2 years of related experience
- Certification: Associate level industry certifications desirable - CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
