Network Engineer I

About the role

The Network Engineer I supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure while providing hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues. They manage assigned projects and research system upgrades to ensure hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Provides hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues
• Manages assigned projects and researches system upgrades
• Ensures hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards
• Performs scheduled maintenance
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 reliability for the hospital

Requirements

• 4 year college degree or 2 years of related experience
• Certification: Associate level industry certifications desirable - CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
