Network Development Manager
What You'll Do
- Analyze financial and operational data to develop competitive pricing strategies, evaluate lane profitability, and recommend performance improvements.
- Possess strong analytical and mathematical capabilities, with proven experience interpreting complex data to drive insights and recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Pricing teams to align network development initiatives with business goals.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities by monitoring lane density, market trends, and high-demand lanes to expand network reach.
- Develop and refine pricing models, tools, and technology to optimize rates, support negotiations, and prevent low-margin business.
- Provide strategic insights through market research, industry trend analysis, and stakeholder engagement to influence long-term business decisions.
Skillset for Success
- 3–5+ years of experience in transportation/logistics and data analysis, with a solid understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in network development, optimization, and pricing strategy within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills, paired with a results-oriented mindset.
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and aligning with organizational values.
Compensation & Benefits
The position has a total cash compensation range of $70,000.00 to $130,000.00 which includes the position-specific, performance-based incentive; base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
