About the role

The Medicaid VBS Network State Manager oversees compliance with Medicaid contractual network responsibilities, focusing on promoting innovative value-based solutions to achieve cost and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete value-based contracting cycle, including planning, negotiation, and loading of provider contracts.
• Recruit providers to meet network targets.
• Monitor provider performance.
• Develop strategic plans.
• Ensure adherence to state guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize provider relationships, facilitate provider meetings, and support network performance improvements.
• Coordinate provider information with internal departments and assist in provider-related data collection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Managed Care Network VBS experience, including Medicaid, with strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid standards, legal terms in provider contracting, and system thinking is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is necessary.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $75,400 to $182,549 annually, with bonus, incentive, and equity opportunities.
