Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network.
- Handles a variety of complex network assignments.
- Installs, supports and/or maintains local (LAN) and/or wide area networks (WAN).
- Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations.
- Maintains data traffic/controls network performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
- Tests and analyzes network communications, routers and switches.
- Provides Enterprise Core Networking design.
- Provides network field network architecture, infrastructure design, administration, implementation and support.
- Analyzes and troubleshoots network systems/traffic in a timely, cost-effective/efficient manner to meet requirements and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years’ IT experience.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in network design and implementation of Cisco routers/switches/Wi-Fi, Wireless (Radios, Microwave, Satellite), and WAN/LAN.
Skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a range of sophisticated assignments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
