About the role
Maintains network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity. Ensures network security and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manages network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity.
- Ensures network security and performance.
- Maintain network configuration in compliance with the latest Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 4-year degree -OR- additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL
- Active SECRET clearance
- DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (minimum Security+)
- Cisco/Juniper routers and switches
- Network security, VPNs, firewalls
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting
- Proficient with virtualization and cloud computing software
- Zero Client architecture, and CISCO networking technologies
