About the role

The Network Administrator II (WAN) is responsible for managing and maintaining the wide area network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain WAN infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Manage network security protocols and policies
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network administration
• Experience with WAN technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN, and routing protocols
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSL/TLS
• Proficient in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• CCNA or equivalent certification
• Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards

• Technical proficiency with network devices and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
