Network Administrator

About the role

Responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and securing Cisco network infrastructure—including routers, switches, and firewalls—in support of national defense operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure network devices and apply security updates
• Design Cisco NEXUS environments
• Manage remote authentication services
• Use network management tools like SolarWinds to monitor performance
• Collaborate with customers, IPTs, and vendors to ensure reliable network services across Data Center & Compute environments

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive Cisco support background
• IAT II certification
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (mandatory)
• Physical ability to handle equipment and communicate effectively via various channels
• Flexibility for varied work hours

Preferred Skills

• Scripting
• Unix/RHEL
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, LatteART, and XACTA
