Network Administrator

Position Overview

The Network Administrator will assist with design, deployment, and troubleshooting layer 2 and layer 3 network equipment. This role will aid in strategic network initiatives, ensure high availability, security compliance and network uptime.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, implementation, and optimization of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks
• Support the design of network architecture standards, best practices, and documentation
• Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, tools, and vendors
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and uptime
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with IT security to implement and enforce network security policies
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements
• Enforce and maintain network compliance by executing STIG remediation, implementing IAVM patches, and addressing cybersecurity C
