.NET FHIR Developer (Healthcare) Location :
About the role
This position involves developing and maintaining FHIR-based applications to support healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in .NET and FHIR, with a focus on healthcare-specific implementations.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining FHIR-based web APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Implementing FHIR resources such as Patient, Encounter, Observation, Practitioner, Condition, etc.
- Designing and implementing RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Working with SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval
- Transforming healthcare data from various formats like JSON, XML
- Utilizing Azure / AWS cloud services for deployment and management
- Participating in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Azure DevOps
- Collaborating with healthcare domain experts to understand US Healthcare workflows and integrations
- Engaging with providers, payers, and clinical teams to ensure system alignment with their needs
Requirements
Strong experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API
Solid understanding of FHIR resources and implementations (R4 preferred)
Experience with RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
Proficiency in SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with JSON, XML, and healthcare data transformations
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or similar tools
Healthcare domain understanding, including US Healthcare workflows (Provider, Payer, Claims, Clinical data)
Knowledge of EHR/Epic/Cerner integrations is a plus
Experience with SMART On FHIR is preferred
