About the role
We are looking for a .Net Developer (Blazor) to support the design and delivery of modern web applications for the energy and natural resources sector in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building responsive user experiences, developing reliable backend services, and contributing to well-structured, maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, Blazor, and WebAssembly to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Develop and maintain data access layers and application logic with Entity Framework Core and relational database technologies.
- Create interactive user interfaces with Telerik components while ensuring usability, consistency, and responsive behavior.
- Apply clean architectural principles and object-oriented design practices to produce organized, testable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate functional needs into effective application features and technical solutions.
- Support source control, build automation, and deployment activities through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor code quality and address maintainability concerns by using static analysis and review tools such as SonarQube.
- Contribute to web service and integration development to enable secure and efficient communication between systems.
- Provide assistance with mobile-oriented .NET development efforts when project needs align with .NET MAUI capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience developing applications with ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Hands-on expertise with Blazor and WebAssembly for modern web interface development.
- Strong understanding of Entity Framework Core and database-driven application design.
- Experience working with Telerik UI controls in .NET Core or Blazor environments.
- Knowledge of clean architecture concepts and foundational object-oriented design principles.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps workflows, including build and release pipeline support.
- Experience using code quality tools such as SonarQube to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Background in backend development, ASP.NET, CSS, database work, and .NET Core-based application delivery.
