C#/.NET Blazor Software Engineer
About the role
We are seeking an experienced C#/.NET Blazor Software Engineer to join an application development team supporting the design, modernization, and enhancement of enterprise web and mobile applications. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity in Austin, TX, ideal for a developer with strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft development stack.
The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of web application development experience and work closely with systems analysts, architects, business stakeholders, and other developers throughout the Agile SDLC to gather requirements, design solutions, develop new functionality, troubleshoot complex issues, and support existing applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain complex web-based and client/server applications.
- Build front-end and back-end software solutions using C#/.NET, Blazor, SQL, HTML5, CSS, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications and reusable software components.
- Collaborate with business users, systems analysts, and architects to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot application issues, and implement software enhancements.
- Support production applications by resolving defects and maintaining current software versions.
- Develop and support mobile applications using Visual Studio, .NET Core 9.0, and DevExpress.
- Implement secure payment functionality within mobile applications.
- Conduct research and technical analysis to improve application functionality and performance.
- Recommend process improvements and development best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing web-based software applications.
- 4+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- 4+ years of programming experience with technologies including .NET, C#, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, SQL, and stored procedures.
- 4+ years of experience with web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile software development environments.
- 3+ years of experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
- 3+ years of experience presenting software demonstrations and design changes to stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- 1+ year of experience developing applications with C# .NET Blazor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience migrating existing Java or Windows Forms applications to C# .NET Blazor.
- Experience implementing responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility implementation.
- Previous experience supporting Texas Department of Agriculture systems.

Pay
$56 - 61 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, onsite contract opportunity in Austin, TX. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
