Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join a technology and engineering consulting firm that delivers digital transformation, software development, systems integration, and advanced engineering solutions for federal government and defense customers. This is a remote position requiring an active Top Secret or DHS clearance.
About the role
The .NET Developer will work hands-on to design, develop, and maintain scalable web and cloud-native applications using modern development frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience across both front-end and back-end development and bring innovative ideas and a sense of ownership to their work.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative enterprise applications on the Microsoft cloud platform that meet business objectives, solve complex problems, and deliver high value to the client.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and React.
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
- Develop and support applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server and SQL databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across front-end, back-end, application, cloud, and database environments.
- Work in a Scrum team using the Agile method.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline, alongside 3+ years of .NET development experience.
- Strong experience with both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience in one or more modern front-end technologies such as Angular.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with writing queries and navigating MS SQL.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development.
- Experience delivering Microsoft solutions using Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices, including source-driven development, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Active Top Secret or DHS clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance.
- Understanding of federal governance, accessibility, and cybersecurity frameworks, including Section 508, FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 controls.
Pay
Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 (depending on experience)
