.NET Developer

About the Role

This hybrid position requires in-office hours and focuses on contributing to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by developing computer programs that address business problems or needs of the Bank. The role emphasizes advanced program design, leading software development projects, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Codes complex programs using .NET and C#.
• Utilizes JetBrains Rider, Git, .NET Core, Blazor, BUnit, Visual Development tools, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and HTML5.
• Accesses and interacts with SQL databases.
• Implements program changes and tests programs for accuracy.
• Communicates accurate task status to supervisors and peers.
• Investigates and resolves system problems.
• Collaborates with the team to design new systems and improve existing ones.
• Maintains knowledge of technological advances in the computer industry and Dollar Bank’s environment.
• Documents deployment and backout plans for production code changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including risk management responsibilities as outlined by Dollar Bank’s risk management program.

Requirements

• College degree with a concentration in information technology (work experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• Minimum of five (5) years of software development experience.
• Experience in developing cross-functional systems.
• Proficiency with the .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Core, Blazor, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git for source control and build management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently to translate requirements into design documents.
• Strong skills in architecting, designing, coding, unit testing, and implementing complex technical solutions.
