.Net/C# Developer

About the role

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented .Net/C# Developer to support Veterans Affairs initiatives. Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply. This is a 100% U.S.-based remote position; candidates from CA, CO, IL, MN, NJ, NY, OR, or WA will not be considered. U.S. Citizenship is required. The position is contingent upon receiving project funding.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user-defined requirements
• Writes, tests, and analyzes new application software
• Performs code reviews and system maintenance/enhancements
• Works independently with IT and business units

Requirements

• 8+ years of .Net and/or C# development experience
• Expertise with containerization and SQL databases
• Experience with AWS, GIT, and JIRA
• Experience in high-paced DevOps and large-scale enterprise environments
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree

Desired experience

• Electronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) and medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc)
• T-SQL experience
• Experience working with remote U.S.-based teams (not offshore)

Pay

$85,389 – $116,975
