About the role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director with a background in Cardiology, Nephrology, or Primary Care to lead an integrated clinical care model focused on primary care coordination and specialty collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse case managers.
- Drive population health outcomes by reducing hospitalizations, emergency visits, and readmissions.
- Support primary care integration, clinical quality, and develop a strong referral network.
- Oversee provider workflows, implement evidence-based protocols, and facilitate team feedback and case reviews.
- Promote equitable care through outreach to underserved communities and strategic growth planning.
- Serve as a clinical liaison with partners, payers, and health system leaders.
Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification in relevant specialties.
- Active or eligible Georgia medical license.
- At least 2 years of clinical leadership or administrative experience.
- Knowledge of managed care, quality metrics, and population health principles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
