Nephrology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full-Time

About the Role

A Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is sought to join a Nephrology team, providing inpatient and outpatient care at a medical center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounds
• Assist with outpatient dialysis
• Support consults for acute kidney injury and electrolyte issues
• Evaluate dialysis patients
• Assist with inpatient charting
• Support outpatient nephrology clinics

Schedule

Only one weekend per month on call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred for Physician Assistant
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Prior nephrology training is not necessary as training will be provided
