About the role

Practice in a modern 6-bed Level II NICU located within UPMC Memorial, a state-of-the-art hospital in York, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Enjoy an exceptional work-life balance with a week-on/week-off schedule, primarily providing backup coverage to experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Pediatric Hospitalists, with limited 24-hour call responsibilities.
  • Opportunity to maintain and expand clinical skills through collaboration with the Level III NICU in Harrisburg and the broader UPMC neonatal network.
  • Join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatric specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Be part of a growing program with opportunities to influence future NICU development and newborn care initiatives.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding clinical care and achieving excellent patient outcomes.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
  • Passion for medical education, mentorship, and contributing to the growth of neonatal services.
