Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate families and support staff on neonatal care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist
• Experience in a Level III NICU setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in Iowa
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Pediatrics or Neonatology

Benefits

• Guaranteed Salary: $346,920
• Commencement Bonus: $70,000
• Longevity Bonus: $30,000 after Year 4

Schedule

Shared call with pediatric team; typically, 1:3
