About the role

The role is integral to providing comprehensive care for newborns and their families, ranging from healthy infants to those requiring advanced intensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for newborns and their families, ranging from healthy infants to those requiring advanced intensive care.
• Support the development of the Pediatric services at Henry Ford Health, including expansion of the inpatient footprint and specialty care.
• Collaborate with a robust hospitalist group and an active transport team to ensure 24-hour coverage at Level III and Level II units.
• Participate in academic appointments at Michigan State University and Wayne State University, and contribute to the UGME program with medical students, family practice residents, and NPPs.
• Contribute to developmental follow-up assessments through weekly clinics at Henry Ford Detroit and Henry Ford Children's Hospital, supporting multi-disciplinary specialty clinical care.

Requirements

• A completed or currently completing ACGME/AOA approved Neonatology fellowship program.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics.

Qualifications

• ACGME/AOA approved Pediatric residency program.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
