Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologist to join our well-established and highly regarded practice at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position offers the opportunity to practice neonatology in a high-acuity, collaborative environment while enjoying an exceptional quality of life.
Neonatologist Practice Highlights
- 60-bed Level III/IV NICU with approximately 800 annual admissions and an average daily census of 48
- Neonatologist schedule - 12-hour shifts with in-house overnight call
- Dedicated 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage
- NICU support - Comprehensive subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery, pediatric cardiology, and New Mexico’s only pediatric cardiothoracic surgery program
- Teaching opportunities with NNP students, residents, and medical students, as well as outreach opportunities throughout the state
- A collegial environment that welcomes new graduates and neonatology fellows
