About the role

Join a well-established team serving Stormont Vail Healthcare and St. Francis in Topeka, Kansas. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality, evidence-based neonatology in a setting designed for both clinical excellence and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level III, 36-bed NICU equipped to deliver advanced neonatal care, including: High-Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and EEG.
• Manage an average daily census of 33 at Stormont and a Level II, 4-bed NICU at St. Francis.
• Support pediatric subspecialties such as cardiology, neurology, general surgery, and endocrinology.
• Work approximately 7 shifts per month with 24-hour shifts taken in-house.
• Enjoy over 20 days off per month without using Paid Time Off (PTO).
• Benefit from senior neonatologist coverage at St. Francis for smooth operations and minimal call burden.

• Competitive compensation and incentive program with a starting salary range of $285,000 and annual salary increases.
