We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to become part of our well-established practice providing neonatal care at Prisma Health Richland, Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center and Lexington Medical Center. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team to include additional full-time Neonatologist and NNP coverage across all locations. Position Highlights Full-time Neonatologist position within a high-acuity, collegial practiceResponsibilities shared between Prisma Health Richland, Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center and Lexington Medical Center. Neonatologists provide in-house coverage during the dayExperienced NNPs provide in-house overnight coverage, with Neonatologist back-up available from homeSupport from a comprehensive team of pediatric subspecialists, including pediatric surgeryOpportunity to practice within a regional referral network serving communities throughout South Carolina Prisma Health Richland Regional perinatal center serving 16 counties across the Midlands of South CarolinaApproximately 2,400 deliveries annuallyMore than 800 NICU admissions each year70-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 62Active Maternal Fetal Medicine program with 4 physicians on staffActive Pediatric Surgery program supported by 4 Pediatric SurgeonsAdvanced services include:Conventional ventilationHigh-frequency ventilationInhaled nitric oxide therapyECMOTherapeutic hypothermia (brain cooling) program Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center 26-bed private-room Level III NICUIntermittent responsibilities at surrounding practice locationsSupport for an additional Level I Nursery at Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge with approximately 1,100 deliveries annuallyServices include:Conventional ventilationHigh-frequency ventilationInhaled nitric oxide therapy Lexington Medical Center 20-bed private Level II NICU with an average daily census of 10Approximately 4,000 deliveries annuallyNeonatologists provide daytime in-house coverage and remote call coverage after hoursSupport from the Maternal Fetal Medicine team at the Regional Perinatal CenterAccess to pediatric subspecialty support through the Children's Hospital Board Certified or Board Eligible Our clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation.
