Neonatologist

Responsibilities

Join a collaborative and dynamic team at Wesley Medical Center.

Minimum 2 neonatologists on until 4pm. Very close knit team creating a flexible schedule with strong NNP support.

24-Hour In-House Coverage: Work in our Level-III, 80-bed NICU with round-the-clock coverage. No call required from home!

High Acuity Environment: 6,000 deliveries each year, with the intensive and special care units averaging around 1,200 admissions annually and an average daily census of 60.

High volume with procedures: Handle OK/NE/Western Kansas transfers – LPs, Lines, etc.

Comprehensive Services: Provide all services except ECMO and heart surgery.

Supportive Environment: Work alongside residents and nurse practitioners for both day and night shifts.

Academic Affiliation: Affiliated with KU School of Medicine – Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities.
