Neonatal NICU Respiratory Therapist

Role: Respiratory Therapist RRT in NICU

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory care to premature and critically ill newborns, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and NICU nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and support evidence-based protocols.
• Perform ABG analysis, set up and troubleshoot equipment, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate families about respiratory care and treatment plans.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential).
• Experience with neonatal respiratory care and ventilator management.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity NICU environment.
