What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of Secondary ELA standards and curriculum
- Facilitate high-quality professional development sessions
- Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable, constructive feedback
- Model lessons or co-teach to demonstrate best practices
- Coach teachers at various experience levels in foundational literacy, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing
- Analyze student data to identify instructional needs and support interventions
- Collaborate with school teams to improve instructional planning and outcomes
- Build relationships that promote trust, growth, and sustained improvement
What We're Looking For
- Required Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Secondary ELA standards
- Strong background in early literacy, structured literacy, or science of reading
- Experience coaching teachers or leading literacy initiatives
- Ability to analyze and use student data effectively
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
