NDT Trainee

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Aid technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with proper documentation and reports on services provided.
  • Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

  • In-house plant/shop atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and clients.
  • Work in plant and/or shop areas around other NDT inspection equipment and Forklifts moving parts around can cause elevated noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Minimum Requirements

  • US Citizenship required due to contractual obligations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
  • Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.

Essential Physical Functions

  • Working in a warehouse environment with production machinery.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of 55 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
