Summary
The selected individual will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of NDT technicians, driving performance management, ensuring technical capability, and providing hands-on technical leadership for NDT processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of NDT experience in aerospace or composite inspection; Level II certification required.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, development, and execution.
- Hold and maintain at minimum a Level II ASNT certification. Level III certification or ability to achieve within a defined timeframe strongly preferred, with exposure to Level III responsibilities.
- Certification in and/or strong knowledge of NAS 410 and ASTM/AWS specs for certifications and inspection requirements, as well as experience supporting or administering an NDT Written Practice.
- Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes in a manufacturing or quality environment.
- Familiarity with composite NDT methods such as UT, RT (X-ray), thermography, or shearography, and common composite defect types.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Pay
Annual salary range: $83,500 - $125,300
