Job Summary
Designs, develops, and implements nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the properties and conformance of materials, components, or systems without causing damage. Records, analyzes, and reports test results. Writes testing plans and maintains test documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Essential Functions
- Participates in the development, implementation, and administration of programs and activities within the nondestructive testing function of the organization.
- Oversees that results are documented in accordance with the specification.
- Supervises the work of personnel who utilize ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques during the testing process.
- Supervises findings of equipment and system performance checks and recommends corrective actions.
- Administers and oversees nondestructive testing procedures, policies, and techniques as necessary.
- Leads, oversees, and tracks NDT training as needed.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Science Degree in NDT or equivalent training and experience
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise. Problem-solving skills. Time management skills. Manual dexterity. Non-destructive testing.
