NDT Operators – 1st & 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor NDT inspection equipment, including EMI, UT, and Magnetic Particle (MT/MPI) equipment.
• Set up and perform inspections according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Identify and evaluate material irregularities, including cracks, corrosion, discontinuities, and wall‑thickness variations.
• Perform manual UT prove‑up inspections to verify and document material indications when required.
• Accurately record inspection results, test data, and daily inspection information.
• Mark, identify, and sort materials based on inspection results.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow established safety, quality, and inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous NDT/NDE experience preferred; candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more NDT methods, including Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI), and other relevant NDT/NDE methods.
• Ability to learn and follow technical inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow technical procedures.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to work extended 12‑hour shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.

Pay

Base pay: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Second‑shift differential: +$1.50/hour. Overtime paid after 8 hours worked.

Schedule

5 days per week, 12‑hour shifts.
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (2 openings).
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (5 openings). Schedule: 5×12 (five 12‑hour shifts per week). Training: approximately 1 month on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift for 2nd‑shift hires.
