Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize penetrant black lights
• Process known defect standards and accept/reject results
• Take measurements of pressure and water gauges
• Evaluate in-use penetrant and developer
• Apply penetrant to aerospace parts according to aerospace specifications
• Control dwell times for penetrant and developer
• Evaluate aerospace parts in accordance with OEM specifications
• Determine if aerospace parts are acceptable or rejectable
• Be familiar with Penetrant inspection using a Type I, Method A, form d system
• Familiarity with other departments in an aerospace processing facility

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of aerospace OEM specifications

Compensation

COMPENSATION RANGE: $20.00 to $24.00 Per hour plus shift differential
