Responsibilities
- Aid with internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Support training and qualification of Level I and Level II inspectors
- Aid with NDT technique development, reviews, and approvals
- Interpret specifications, procedures, and customer requirements
- Perform system checks, calibrations, and equipment monitoring
- Maintain NDT records and documentation
- Support production inspections using RT/X-Ray and/or FPI/PT methods
- Participate in process improvement and technology implementation projects
- Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and customers on NDT-related matters
- Complete training requirements leading toward Secondary Level III certification
Skills
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience in Radiographic Testing (RT/X-Ray), Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/PT), or both
- Current or previous Level II certification preferred (NAS 410, ASNT, or equivalent)
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, procedures, and blueprints
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to train and mentor inspection personnel
- Aerospace manufacturing or casting experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
