About the role

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists
  • Work closely with patients to build personalized therapies
  • Advise medical staff on appropriate types of therapeutic modalities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care services
  • Document therapy provided in the medical record

Requirements

  • Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana
  • Graduation from a CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program
  • N.B.R.C. registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire date
  • Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to deal with confidential patient information
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR

Skills

  • Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program graduate
  • N.B.R.C. registry exam passed within 6 months of hire date
  • Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification
