Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists
- Work closely with patients to build personalized therapies
- Advise medical staff on appropriate types of therapeutic modalities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care services
- Document therapy provided in the medical record
Requirements
- Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana
- Graduation from a CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program
- N.B.R.C. registry exam must be passed within 6 months of hire date
- Healthcare Provider Certification
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to deal with confidential patient information
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR
Skills
- Respiratory Care Practitioner
- CoARC and regionally accredited respiratory care program graduate
- N.B.R.C. registry exam passed within 6 months of hire date
- Healthcare Provider Certification
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification
