NDT Level I Technician

About the role

Seeking a detail-oriented NDT Level I Radiographer Technician to provide Level I Radiography (RT), real-time x-ray services, and support production and development programs to ensure all products meet manufacturing specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time X-rays on thermal battery components, assemblies, and welds according to established procedures and operating instructions.
• Set up and operate industrial X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in compliance with quality management systems.
• Interpret and evaluate radiographic images in darkroom conditions with proper viewing equipment to ensure accurate defect detection.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures and perform inspections according to approved techniques.
• Support NDT investigations, perform inspections, and participate in supplier audits if required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• NDT Level 1 Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) per ASNT or NAS 410 preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
• Competent computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
• North Star software experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
