NDT/Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)

About the role

Responsible for inspecting non-destructive testing (NDT) and certified weld inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using various techniques such as visual inspection, radiographic testing, and ultrasonic testing.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet the required quality standards and codes.
• Document findings and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with relevant safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in NDT or related field.
• Must hold a valid certification as a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI).
• Knowledge of applicable welding and inspection codes and standards.
• Proficiency in using NDT equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
