NDE Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspections and tests include mechanical, dimensional, document review, receipt, visual, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrate, ultrasonic, leak testing and material verification.
• Operates, sets up, calibrates and maintains associated equipment and instrumentation.
• Provides oversight and discipline-specific guidance to Level I personnel.
• Evaluates and reports inspection and test results.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Observes and complies with all safety and project rules.
• Performs other duties and activities as required.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Level II MT, PT, VT Required.
