NCC Adjunct Faculty: Addiction Recovery

About the role

Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for the Psychology Program. The college is looking for individuals with a strong academic background who are interested in teaching hybrid evening courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Addiction Recovery Support Work
• Introduce students to the guiding principles of addiction recovery support
• Teach about the four domains of recovery support and the twelve core functions of alcohol and drug abuse counselors

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, or Human Development
• Three years' experience working in the recovery field

Benefits

• Salary range: $825-$975 per contact hour
• The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience
