NCC Adjunct Faculty: Addiction Recovery
About the role
Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for the Psychology Program. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong academic background and experience in the recovery field.
Responsibilities
- Teach hybrid evening courses such as Introduction to Addiction Recovery Support Work
- Introduce students to the guiding principles of addiction recovery support
- Teach the four domains of recovery support and the twelve core functions of alcohol and drug abuse counselors
Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, or Human Development
- Three years experience working in the recovery field
Qualifications
- Salary range: $825-$975 per contact hour
- Appointment type: Temporary
- Work schedule: Evenings
Pay
The salary range for this position is per $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
