Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the NC Pre-K Curriculum.
• Create a nurturing and positive environment for children and families, fostering strong bonds and supporting comprehensive development.
• Design and execute learning experiences covering physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress toward School Readiness Goals, tailoring the curriculum to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities.
• Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment through strict hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision procedures.
