Pay
Current pay rates for this position vary based on years of experience, the county of employment, and educational qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities
- Adhere to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education
- Align with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum
- Contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families
- Help forge strong, supportive relationships with children and families
- Assist with planning and implementing learning experiences that promote developmental domains such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression
- Play a key role in observing and assessing children's development
- Aid in customizing the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child
- Support the mission to guide young learners toward achieving their School Readiness Goals
