NC FAST Integration Engineer

About the role

Client requires the services of a Senior Integration Engineer to administer, design, implement, and oversee the integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The client seeks a highly technical resource to serve as a Data Integration, API and ETL developer for creating real-time, on-demand, batch and scheduled data interfaces and processing between systems and applications, both internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple business, technical, and validation efforts.
• Solutioning from both technical and functional perspectives; understand and clarify client requirements.
• Design and build solutions leveraging multiple resources/teams utilizing Salesforce and other platforms.
• Participate in exploring business needs, architectural analysis, development, testing, production support, and system maintenance.
• Perform requirements gathering, designing, implementing solutions, and supporting go-live and post‑implementation.
• Provide hands‑on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on MuleSoft technology.
• Apply MuleSoft architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices.
• Preference for experience designing and developing integration solutions using IIB/ACE or Boomi.

Requirements

• Experience in data modeling, OLAP design, and implementation of APIs and ETL processes for data cleansing and refreshes.
• 7 years of strong understanding and knowledge of data formats: JSON, XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed‑Width).
• 2 years of experience with integration via web‑services, API and ETL management.
• 5 years of experience leveraging common frameworks such as message queuing, caching, complex mapping, branching, and parallel processing.
• 7 years of hands‑on experience building integration patterns; managing, deploying and supporting APIs.
• 7 years of administering experience in Mule ESB Middleware, including cloud configurations and installations for multiple environments.
• 2 years of MuleSoft experience integrating with Salesforce applications, including solid understanding of available Mule Connectors (Standard/Custom).
• 3 years of configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API Manager.
• 5 years of proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Bash, JSON, etc.).
• Highly desired: 2 years of hands‑on design, development and implementation experience with IBM IIB/ACE.
• Highly desired: 5 years of experience with AWS cloud platform.
