About the role
The Lemoore Navy Lodge is seeking a Housekeeping Lead to support the U.S. Navy and its military guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment for military personnel.
Responsibilities
- Performing cleaning processes in guest rooms and common areas
- Managing linen for assigned rooms
- Completing maintenance requests for broken or defective items
- Maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and organization of assigned carts
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Experience with general housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving items, polishing, cleaning, removing debris, transporting clean and dirty linens, etc.
- Leadership and training experience is a plus
- A valid state driver's license is required
- A pre-employment criminal background check is necessary
- Availability to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 6 months of housekeeping experience
- Leadership and/or training experience
