The Lead Therapist is responsible for the administrative oversight and quality management of assigned clinical and case management services. This position is responsible for the assessment, coordination, and documentation of all treatment services for assigned clients. This position works Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. Some weekends are required to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
Oversee group therapy programming
- Develop/approve curricula
- Monitor outcomes
- Ensure group documentation supports treatment goals
Support program operations
- Ensure coverage during staff absences
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Attend required clinical, multidisciplinary, and court-related meetings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social services or mental health required
- Five (5) years’ experience in child welfare system
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in a residential setting
- Clinical Licensure required
- National Provider Identification Number (NPI) required if not obtained upon hire
- State of Florida Medicaid Provider Number required if not obtained upon hire
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Successful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse (learn more)
