Navy Client Account Manager

About the role

This position will collaborate with the overall Navy/NAVFAC CAM as well as the rest of the Department of War team. The DOW Program for DCS-A generates nearly $800M in annual sales and supports all of DCS' Global Business Lines: B+P (AE Design); Water; Environmental, PGM, Energy/Power, Advisory, and Transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable and reproducible Account growth for the NAVY/NAVFAC Account with specific emphasis on the Navy’s Pacific and West Regions.
  • Strategic Direction- Intelligence- and Positioning: Develop and manage strategic plans, determine resource allocation, and conduct competitor and Small Business/SDB analyses.
  • Account Plan Development: Set and monitor opportunity targets, establish growth goals, and flow down goals to Regional Engagement Teams.
  • Account Performance: Maintain situational awareness of account performance, align bookings and pipeline with projections, and facilitate risk management processes.
  • Pursuit Support & SalesForce Management: Review and update SF pipeline, assist with teaming and negotiations, and ensure coordination with FBS & Marketing.
  • Client Relationships: Lead/manage key client relationships, including NAVY/NAVFAC Regions, Engineering Commands, Research & Development Centers, and coordinate cross-agency opportunities.
  • Compliance: Maintain situational awareness, serve on JV Boards, and ensure FAR compliance.
  • Performance/Risk Assessment: Review CPAR reports, talk with major Project Managers, and resolve OCI issues.
  • Communicate/Coordinate: Provide YTD status updates, communicate progress up the chain, and maintain a focus group communication strategy.
  • Staff Reviews: Maintain HR requirements for assigned staff, develop and negotiate goals for each, and promote the AECOM brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or other related discipline that aligns with AECOM’s Business Lines and NAVY/NAVFAC client needs.
  • At least 12 years of experience working with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs, including at least 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Travel required throughout CONUS and some OCONUS travel driven by project and opportunity needs.
  • Due to the nature of the role, US citizenship is required.
  • Master’s or PhD degree in architecture, engineering, or other related discipline that aligns with AECOM’s Business Lines and NAVY/NAVFAC client needs is highly desirable.
  • Engineer/Architect Professional Registration (PE or AIA) is highly desirable.
  • Achieved the rank of Navy Civil Engineer Corps Captain or higher is highly desirable.
  • PFAS knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Brooks Act procurement experience is highly desirable.
  • Energy Performance Services Experience is highly desirable.
  • Waterfront design and construction experience is highly desirable.
  • Airfield design and construction experience is highly desirable.
