About the role
The Financial Analyst will support budget development, coordination, and roll-up for annual submission. They will also monitor budget execution data to assess spending patterns and performance against the budget.
Responsibilities
- Supports budget development, coordination, and roll-up for annual submission
- Maintains oversight of budget execution data to analyze spending patterns and performance against the budget
- Serves as a liaison to coordinate support agreements with trading partners
- Works independently to solve issues and interfaces effectively with customers
- Utilizes strong data analytics skills to identify trends and variances
- Tracks and reports on commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Has prior experience with Navy ERP and G-Invoicing
- Works within the Navy healthcare business office environment
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Government, AGA, or ASMC certification and involvement
- Familiarity with DoD PPBES framework
- Strong data analytics skills and ability to identify trends and variances
- Experience tracking and reporting on commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Prior experience with Navy ERP and G-Invoicing
- Experience at BUMED or DoD healthcare business office
