Navigator RN Lead
About the Role
As a Navigator RN, you will provide expert nursing guidance and support to patients as they navigate complex healthcare journeys. Every day you will assess patient needs, educate on treatment options, coordinate care across multiple providers, and facilitate access to resources, acting as a central point of contact. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to ensure seamless and informed care.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular Nurse Navigator core duties.
- Partner with vendors and other clinical entities to ensure clinical communication and workflows are being followed.
- Assume operational oversight of the practice in the absence of the Practice Manager.
- Support the practice manager to ensure full department coverage, including making changes and adjustments to the schedule as necessary.
- Support the scheduling of practice meetings and training sessions and communicate the schedule to the staff.
- Provide computer system training to new hires.
- Serve as an EMR subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Three (3) years of RN experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously, maximizing productivity and effectiveness.
- Ability to adapt to change of duties quickly and smoothly.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.

Pay
$39.18 - $58.28 per hour.
