Navigator Family Advocate - Kinship Care

About the role

This position plays a critical role in supporting kinship care families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and advocacy to kinship caregivers.
  • Assist with accessing community resources and services.
  • Maintain regular contact with families to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in family support or social work.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of kinship care laws and best practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
